Machine gun preacher

Man who is whole life rebel, being also in jail comes home and goes back to his wife and daughter. This is the start of my latest movie "Machine gun preacher". He is drinking a lot, taking drugs, and always being in some sort of troubles all the time.  His wife helps him to realize and to start believe in God. In some time he gets baptised, which was very important to him and slowly things started to change. He gets a good job, he starts to think in other way, sells his motor bike and takes care for his family. In time he even buys them a better house to live it.
One day in a church he listens to a preacher from Africa about troubles in Sudan and that makes him thinking that they need his help. he talks to his family and finally he goes there to see the true situation of their lives. After his first visit there, he went back home and already got vision, idea how to make a church for rebels and outlaws in home and how to built and orphanage in Sudan to help some of the children there.

Here's my question - do we ever truly see the problems around us? I mean not only saying " Oh, how poor people, we really don't appreciate what we have, etc,..."OK, for a start that is true, but do you ever do anything to change this situation?Really do? I mean you have so many options to help others. Not only by red cross, but also your charity work with your hands and your heart, your smile and most of all your positive thinking. There are so many people in hard times, we can not even imagine.

The movie was cruel, with showing us present story in Africa in Sudan and their war, but I am sure the real situation is even more cruel. Much more worse than it is shown. For most of the thing we even don't hear, 'cos they are so horrible. Not only in Africa, but all over our Planet. Do, please take your precious time and see this movie - it's only 2 hours long and maybe, just maybe you will start thinking a bit different.
Remember for everyone life is magical, and it doesn't matter where you life. Every mother and father wants to have their child to be healthy and alive. Many people do not have the chance to have this, which are things granted for us. Never say how hard is your life, 'cos remember there is always even more hard. We just don't wanna know about that one.

I had a friend who lived in Nkawkaw (small town, near Accra in Ghana) and he was my pen pal. We wrote to each other for many years. He was also killed in one of their wars in Africa. He was only a teenager when he was already in army and fighting to others. Even today I remember how happy he was always when I send him pencils, books and sweets. - no one can't imagine their happiness.   he was only 17 years old when he died. His sister in the end send me her final letter where she wrote me he has died in fighting. So, where do this world ho? And this was already 14 years ago. And situation now is so much worse then at that time.

After all this I can only say, rest in peace somewhere in heaven my dear friend I. Musah.
